THE 2505 METHOD:
Needing therapy in the form of this. I’ve been missing the streets of the city I used to frequent so often. Missing the people I used to be surrounded by. Sometimes it makes me sad to think about the different directions each of our lives is taking us in and how that it seems the distance between us keeps getting farther away as we get older. But 2505 will always have weekends in New Orleans. We’ll have Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest. Multiple birthday celebrations in the Quarter that always end uptown. Except that first year when we closed down Bourbon Street with the Europeans. We will always have the 2505 essential backroads….ESPECIALLY the backroads. And soon, we will have weddings to add to the list. Here’s to the 2505 family and everyone else that was ever a part of it.
i can’t stop thinking about europe. everyday it gets worse. i just want to hop on a plane, land at heathrow, and make one massive circle across all of europe. the only thing standing in my way is myself and not being able to say no to every other trip that is popping up between now and the time i can save enough money to make the euro trip happen. (japan, the caribbean, possibly costa rica?) my last real trip was in april and in my world, that’s an eternity ago. (i’m not counting trips within the states…ugh. i’m over it.) damn this shitty american economy. damn my travel addiction. damn the man.
and don’t even get me started on how seriously i’ve been researching working holiday visas for australia and new zealand for 2013.
Eisley was amazing! One of the few bands that sounds just as good live as they do on their album. <3
